| Me: | We're going to the gay bars for Jordyn's birthday.. I have to figure out what to wear. |
| Hoan: | Why.. |
| Me: | Because I have to dress up. |
| Hoan: | Just dress up like regular girls.. Don't dress up like gay-men-girls.. There's no such thing. |
This weekend has been really eventful. Last night, Hoan and I rode our bikes with another couple, Nathan and Ai, for three hours around north Austin. We ended the night with Whataburger at 3:30AM.
Tonight, we were supposed to ride to Halcyon to meet up with Drew and Jordyn, except on my way up South Congress, my back wheel locked up and I got scratched up a bit from having to eject myself from a fast-moving bicycle. But then we went to Frank to eat hot dogs and I got a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps at Halcyon that really lifted my spirits. Except on the way back to Hoan’s, my bike broke down again so Hoan had to fix it on the side of the road. He can be so handy sometimes.
Highlight of this weekend was beating Hoan at Literati.
Also, I miss my roomie!
Hoan and I were supposed to see Source Code at the Drafthouse tonight, but we could only find single seats in the theatre. You don’t sit by yourself on a date.
So we watched Paul instead. And fortunately, it was worth the switch. But I was just glad to get my beer and chips + salsa.
