Oh lawd
Christmas shopping has turned the mall into a madhouse. There were so. many. people. I should have expected this, I really should have. I knew I wouldn’t be the only one doing last-minute shopping. But I still have four more presents to go. Wish me luck, as I will be returning tomorrow.

There are a lot of popular, well-known musicians that get a lot of respect, have a strong fan-base, etc. That should mean they’re good, right? Despite their fame, a lot of these bands, mostly the more-established, older, no-longer-together ones, I just can’t get into. Despite all of the praise I hear, I just.. can’t. Maybe I’m listening to the wrong songs or something....

There is a fine line between self-confidence and just.. arrogance. Please refrain from testing this boundary, otherwise you will just seem like a prick.
Besides, it’s not like you have something to prove. If so, obtaining acceptance/validity of some sort through your own self-praise only affirms your insecurities.
